What
Do You See….when You look in the MIRROR
ISA 61:10
I delight
greatly in the LORD; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with
garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom
adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
Our Heavenly
Father is looking into our hearts and preparing us for the time to come.
He is calling
us to a deeper place of worship and adoration then ever before.
MAT 15:8
"'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.
We are in a time right now where we
need to take all that we know and apply it to our hearts.
God’s
one desire is that you and I know Him intimately.
He longs for
us to experience His Rest in the comfort of His precious love and really
understand how much He accepts us. He adopted us.
PSA 91:1
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will
rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my
fortress, my God, in whom I trust."
…..If you make the Most High your dwelling - even
the LORD, who is my refuge - then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come
near your tent.
For he will command his angels concerning you to
guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you
will not strike your foot against a stone.
You will tread upon the lion and the cobra; you
will trample the great lion and the serpent.
Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will
rescue him; I will protect him, for he
(You) acknowledges my (his) name.
He will call
upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver
him and honor him.
With long life
will I satisfy him and show him my salvation."
God is calling the bride to be close to Him…to
know him…to love him….then he will deliver you. This is not always an easy
task but the closer you walk with him…the more he longs to change you and
transform you into the beautiful bride He created for Himself alone.
I used to look at the
outward appearance of a person and judge myself according to them. May times
what I perceived to see was not truly real.
All that began to
change as I began to minister the love of God these past few years. As I began
to draw near to Him, He came near to me and he began to change my heart….before
Time and time again I saw
through the heart of Christ, people who looked extremely wonderful on the
outside. But the inside was full of heartache, pain, wounds failures, and
shortcomings . Thus began a new perspective.
He was giving me a true heart of compassion
But before I reached that
new perspective, I judged others by what I felt.
1.
This was not a product of love it was a product of myself
2.
It was a product of my own emotions
Our Father does
not look at the outward appearance but he looks on the inside.
I Samuel 16:7
For the Lord does not see as a man sees for man
looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.
When I asked Jesus to be my Lord and Savior I knew that I was
accepted and forgiven by his incredible Grace.
But what I did not really get was His
unconditional love for me and how if I would spend much time with Him He would
begin to change me into His Image.
I served God based on the scriptures….I
knew in my mind what I needed to do, But what I did not have was a personal
relationship with My Lord and Savior. I needed to have a deep understanding
poured into my heart.
I longed to love as the word of God
commanded me….but there was something that I did not understand. I would look
in the mirror and I saw the person who had failed and was a looser and because
of that I would try to love others but my heart was full of rejection and
unworthiness. I needed to receive His Love.
Transformation began when I began to seek the Face of Jesus.
1. Jesus
became my main focus
2.
Jesus became my 1st love
3.
Jesus became my priority and my healer
It was in His Presence that I began to be
transformed into the child of Love and compassion he had called me to be.
The Lord longs for
you and me….
He yearns to have us come and sit at his feet.
JOH 4:23
Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers
will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers
the Father seeks. 24
God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth."
This is the Thermometer
by which I can be held accountable to my time in the
presence of My Father
1st day- I feel a little distant
and struggle some….I notice I have not had time with Him
2nd day – I am a lot more testy….My
Husband Know that I have not been with Jesus
3rd day – The whole world knows I
have not been with Jesus.
I wanted to change but my focal point was dimly distorted
by rejection and unworthiness. I could see others faults and problems long
before I saw my own. Yet it was really my own self-image that I saw and not
them at all.
My transformation is based on my time with Jesus
If I am going to sow love:
1.
I need to be in a place where love abides
2.
In His presence
“What you behold- You become”
If I behold- pain
Trouble
Storms
Anger or bitterness
I become:
Bitter, wounded, troubled etc.
“Garbage
in……………..Garbage Out”
If I behold Jesus:
I know love
Compassion
Acceptance
Joy, peace, understanding
I become lovable,
compassionate, accepting, joyful, understanding
“Love in…………..Love Out”
If I
experience Love and acceptance and will in turn give love and acceptance.
“TO KNOW GOD IS TO KNOW LOVE”
I John 4:7-8
Dear friends,
let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been
born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God
is love.
The goal of
the Father is that we show love and acceptance. Extend mercy, model unfailing
love just as Christ extended love, mercy and grace.
Will you be transformed Today…Into the Image of Him
