Note from
the Monterroso family;
We have been praying for
the Lord to send laborers. We would like to take this opportunity to report
how God is answering our prayers and meeting our growing demand.
We have been blessed for so
many years with the ministry of the New Testament Mission in Sebring,
Florida, who sent us and oversees our work in Honduras. Also, all of our
other friends and supporters who have been absolutely faithful over the last
13 years. I can not begin to begin to express how consistently faithful they
have been. We appreciate them very much. Only God could be the author of
such faithfulness over the years.
But the years pass and the
needs increase everyday. Several people ask me for water. To some I can say,
“Yes, we can get you water soon.” To others I may have to say, “It will be a
year or two.” The burden can be heavy.
But in recent years, God
has formed a team. Some have been going to Honduras before me, but
they have seen the need for water on the Mosquito Coast, and have put
together a support ministry in northern Mississippi called, “Living Water,
Honduras”. They will help expand interest and send teams to help with the
water projects along with supporting other ministries. This will take a
tremendous load off of me and free me up to do more work in the Kingdom
where God has called me. God is faithful. This does not change our ministry
affiliation with New Testament Mission. Things remain the same but it will
add to and be a support to our ministry. I hope you can rejoice with us in
how God is meeting the needs for the Mosquito Coast. God Bless and thanks
from the Monterroso family.
